Onewhero Golf Club began its life in 1929 at Onewhero. Since then the club has moved a number of times, and has been based in Pukekawa since 1961. The mature 18-hole course prides itself on volcanic-free soil that allows for excellent drainage in wet weather and minimal cracking during the drier months. Play your round of golf on a well maintained course complete with trees, water hazards, lateral hazards and out of bounds areas, as well as nine greens featuring bunkers that guard them. You'll also enjoy pockets of native bush that attract native pigeons, which are regularly seen on the course.

After your game, head to the two-storey clubhouse for a cold drink and a bite to eat. And you can never have too many golf balls or club warmers: pop into the Pro Shop to stock up on the essentials including clothing, clubs and accessories before you go. You'll find Onewhero Golf Club in Pukekawa, just 40 minutes south of Downtown Auckland and only eight minutes from State Highway One at Mercer.
