Vintage Cupcake Decoration Lesson - $39

• This is the perfect introduction to all things cupcake decorating, tasting or just a fun night out with the girls
• In this class you will learn a variety of different decorating techniques such as how to create a dome cupcake top of icing, how to use a variety of molds and cutters to create different vintage decorations, how to use cake lace, make a two toned bow, hand paint and make beautiful ombre roses (by hand). Perfect for all levels of experience
• And the best part is that everything is provided for this class! Just turn up, decorate, and walk out the door with six beautifully decorated and boxed cupcakes to share (or not!)

• The perfect class if you’re just starting out in cake decorating. This class covers a wide variety of the basic skills you need to make simple and well finished cakes, after which the decorating possibilities are endless
• You will learn to level, fill and crumb coat your cake, apply fondant smoothly (and without stress), make a bow using gum paste, and your choice of decorations from cutters, molds, and other cake decorating tools

• A 6” or 8” round cake (supermarket cake is fine)
• 2-3 cups of your favourite buttercream
• 1 packet 750g Bakels white pettinice (available at the supermarket)
• A cake board or container lid to ice your cake to, and a box or container to take it home
• All gumpaste, tools and colours will be provided for this class

• If you’ve heard about it but never tried it (or tried it, but unsuccessfully) then this is the perfect class
• The next step up from the traditional basics class, this class covers a variety of new techniques
• The main focus of this class is to master the art of smooth ganache, after which you’ll have a play with cake lace to make a border for your cake, a string of sugar pearls, and a large open wafer paper flower which you’ll steam and airbrush

You will need to bring:

• A 6” or 8” round cake (or dummy is fine for this class)
• 2-3 cups of ganache (dark, white or milk is fine – please use a 4:1 ratio of chocolate to cream, contact me for help if you need it)
• A cake board or container to ice your cake to, and box or container to take it home
• All gum paste, cake lace and wafer paper are provided for this class
