Rook's Lane wines are easy drinking fruit forward varietals from the Murray Darling wine region in Victoria's North-West. The wines exhibit all the warm and generous flavours that Australian wines are renowned for, and are styled with a mind to the easy going character of the Australian lifestyle.
Dollar for dollar this is as good as it gets for Australian Shiraz. The nose is all ripe berries, black cherries, vanilla and spice. The sweet fruit flavours are rich and juicy with blueberry characters and strategic use of oak, and there is a nice savoury aftertaste to the proceedings.
