Straw yellow in colour, with good clarity and shine. 100% Chardonnay, on the nose a fresh citrus aromas was very appealing, a subtle hint of white floral notes and a slight touch of granny smith apple showing through. The palate has an off-dry feel as the wine is fresh, clean and crisp from start to finish. The good number of persistent bubbles gives the wine a citrus/ lemon sorbet character that fills the mid-palate. The finish is clean and bright with those citrus notes making the wine easy to enjoy with shell-fish and light seafood cuisine and as an aperitif all year round!
