About Parakai Springs
Parakai Springs is a stones throw away from the camping grounds, and boasts everything from massive water slides to relaxing hot pools. Perfect for all ages, their facilities include; an outdoor thermal pool heated to 32°C, an indoor thermal pool heated to 40°C, a gentle slope beach area for kids, two water slides, private spa pools, qualified life guards, an onsite cafe, picnic areas, and much more. $2 from every adult ticket will be donated to local charity: The Angel Fund. The Helensville Angel Fund was established six years ago in response to a growing awareness of a community need to assist families with financial hardship. It is managed by a group of six professional women who work locally in the areas of social work, education and health. The funds raised by CHILL in the VILLE have been granted to children for sports fees, a bassinet, school shoes, warm clothes and petrol vouchers
Schedule:
Gates open at 10:30am and 13 bands will be cranking back-to- back music. Festival goers will not want to miss the outstanding talent of Kara Gordon, playing at 2:15.
At 3pm Max Key will perform a DJ set. The popular Groove Diggers will take the stage at 5pm. Followed by our super star Anika Moa and her band who will be playing at 6pm. At 7:20 the one and only Jimmy Christmas will be sure to rock Parakai and taking us to closing will be Helensville’s favourite band, The Recipe.
