About Manawatu Tattoo:
Manawatu Tattoo is a 2 two-hour non-stop action-packed show inside the Manfeild Stadium celebrating Women in the Arts. The stage being a Scottish castle entrance with the public seated in an open courtyard area. Combined with feature lighting and landscaping, the inside of this venue is perfect for this type of show. The show is not dependent on the weather. Guest artists are Suzanne Prentice, Bras and Brass (All-female National Brass Band) and Piping Pink (All-female National Pipe Band)These bands are registered fundraisers for Breast Cancer research. Other highlights include Vicki Lee with a vocal tribute to her friend Vera Lynn, Kapa Haka, Waiata, Military Vehicles, Horses, Choirs, Scottish and Highland Dancers, Marching display, Dean McKerras School of dance, Scottish sing a long, Jazz band, Bagpipes, audience participation segments and more.
