National and International Burlesque Titans go head to head to be crowned the King and Queen of NZ Burlesque Festival.

If you want to see what burlesque really is, then let this event show you all that burlesque can be in this battle for burlesque supremacy in the opening show of the 6th Annual New Zealand Burlesque Festival.

The Royal Tease is NZ's only international burlesque competition, with performers vying for the title of NZ’s King and Queen of Burlesque. A great night of entertainment, this is a showcase of fabulous burlesque performers from around New Zealand and the world, all wanting to win the crown, title and glory of becoming reigning burlesque royalty.

Featuring step down performances from previous title holders, this is a night to warm up your voices and hoot for your favourites.

As decreed by NZBF18 Queen Pandora Cherie, please wear something red and sparkly.

About the Spectacular Tease - Saturday 11th May

A red carpet event showcasing the most spectacular acts that NZBF19 has to offer.

Experience the glitz and glamour of Burlesque in all it’s over the top extravagance, in this closing show of the NZ Burlesque Festival. Featuring the finest acts from local and international performers, this is an opportunity to become part of the Glitterati and put on your best threads for an evening of striptease decadence at it’s best.
