Wellington’s Queens Wharf precinct comes alive with mid-winter fun as The Wellington Ice Rink returns again this year to get the capital city skating away the mid-winter blues at Queens Wharf, Wellington.
With over 20,000 people expected, the four-week programme of wintery festivities offers something for everyone. The fully covered, 30m x 15m, 100% pure ice rink provides inner city revelry for all ages.

About Wellington Ice Skating:
The Wellington Ice Skating Rink– 100% Real Ice, will be creating a magical winter wonderland down at the Wellington Waterfront, Queens Wharf. Whether you're a seasoned skater or a nervous novice, the Paradice Skating staff will be on hand to ensure a fantastic skating experience, and can even offer tips if you need. Ice skating is an exciting activity the whole family can share, and the rink is completely covered - rain or shine, the fun will go on. You've got a recipe for some major fun.

Please bear in mind that ice skating is an extreme sport which can result in harm or injury. The risks and hazards include, but are not limited to tripping, falling, collisions and cold exposure. By participating in the activities offered by the Aotea Square Ice Rink you acknowledge these risks could result in injury and you skate at your own risk. We recommend you wear a helmet.
