About Porters Ski Area:
Porters are the closest commercial ski area to Christchurch – just over an hour’s drive from the airport. Bookings are not necessary, please bring printed voucher to Porter's ticket office on the mountain to redeem this deal. The packages are not valid during July school holidays but are valid October school holidays (weekdays only), and must be redeemed by end of season 2019, we don’t carry them over. Please arrive at least 45 mins prior to your chosen lesson time. Deal includes a beginners lift pass, equipment hire for skis, boots and poles, or snowboard and boots and the two-hour lesson. Youth package is for children 6-17, but min age for snowboarder learner is 8 years old. Adults are 18 plus. Lift pass can be upgraded after 12:30pm for $20, for all of Adults, Under 18's and over 65's. Proof of age is required when redeeming over 65’s and under 18’s packages.
