About Rixen Auckland Wakeboarding Park:
Auckland’s first and only Wakeboarding Cable Park is open for business. From a 40-day consent back in 2016 to a five-year operating lease, Rixen Auckland Wakeboarding Park is open until at least 2021. Open every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting, come and check out this on-water experience like no other.
The Two-Tower Cable Wake Boarding system has four cable runs designed specifically to match any ability, from novice to pro. It doesn’t matter what level you’re at, with one-to-one tuition available that will have you leaving the park more skilled than when you arrived. All equipment is available on site, so book a session and jump in the car.
Rixen close the park on Mondays and Thursdays to flush the water out of the cable park entirely and then refill with fresh ocean water. In addition to this Rixen test the water purification once a month to ensure the highest level of health and safety.

Customers are welcome to bring their own gear. In the event of bad weather or low tides, session cancellations may occur. The merchant will let customer know within 24 hours and reschedule the session. Customers should bring their swimwear, towel, sunhat, sunglasses, sunblock and water. Minimum height requirement is 1m. Suitable for ages 6 and over. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier to allow time to get changed, set up and make the most of your session. No refunds unless required by law. No cashback.
