About the experience:
Make an early start for a morning you’ll remember. Join Kiwi Balloon Company and float above the Waikato as the sun rises, taking in the landscape from a new perspective.
Flights take place around sunrise because the early-morning air is generally calmer, with lighter winds and less turbulence before the sun warms the ground - ideal conditions for a peaceful balloon adventure.
After landing and helping pack away the balloon, return to Hamilton Lake’s Verandah Café for a hot or cold drink and some nibbles. Breakfast is available to purchase separately if you’d like to linger a little longer.
Pricing:
- $420 per adult aged 13 years and over
- $840 for two adults

What to expect:
Meet at Hamilton Lake’s Verandah Café at the time specified in your booking confirmation.
Allow approximately 3-4 hours for the full experience, including preparation, transfers, your 40-60 minute flight and refreshments afterwards.
Wear comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes and a hat. Bring your camera to capture the views. This is a shared balloon flight with other passengers.
