About Paradise Valley Wildlife Park:
Paradise Valley Wildlife Park has been around for donkey's years. It started out as a trout sanctuary, but has since expanded into a haven for creatures of all shapes and sizes. The Park has a great range of animal and bird life, including the mighty lion, deer, possums, pigs, wallabies, sheep and the mysterious Thar, which is a Himalayan mountain goat.
They have crystal clear spring-fed trout pools where you can view Rainbow, Brown, Brook and Tiger trout in their natural habitat. You may even purchase trout or animal food on arrival to feed heaps of their friendly critters. They also have a pride of lions for you to get close to with feeding at 2.30pm daily.
Admission to the Paradise Valley Springs Wildlife Park includes entrance to Rotorua's must-see New Zealand Trout, Bird and Wildlife Park, access to the Elevated Treetops Walkway and freshwater spring, as well as viewing their pride of lions. Children four years and under are always free of charge.
