- Inspecting disc brakes linings where visible, tyres and tyre pressures, drive belts
- Completing visual inspection of underbody including exhaust, steering and suspension
- Completing brake performance check
- Topping up all fluids such as coolant, power steering, windscreen washers, brake fluid and transmission oil
- Report on all faults and future work required
- Check battery conditions
- Check transmission oil only, where accessible
- Oil and filter change
