• Visual check air filter
• Check tyre condition and tread depth (incl. spare where accessible)

• Top up windscreen washer fluid, test window washer system operation and spray pattern

• Check and test the side, indicator, brake, number plate and reverse lights
• Tyre detailing/polish
• Check condition and tension of auxiliary drive belts (excluding cambelt)
• Visual search for date of cambelt replacement (if applicable)
• Visual check spark plug condition and advise (based on direct access to plugs)
• Check bonnet latch and catch for corrosion and safe operation
• Lubricate door hinges
• Test horn operation
• Road test vehicle up to 50km/hr
• Carry out engine management system scan
• Check seat belt condition and operation
• Check electrical charging system
• Visual check fuel filter (if fitted and external from fuel tank)
• Check headlights
• Inspection of exhaust system including mountings for security, leaks and noise
• Visual inspection steering rack
• Visual inspection CV boots
• Check steering components for wear and corrosion
• Visual check suspension condition incl. mounting, leaks, wear and corrosion
• Visual check engine/transmission mounts
• Visual inspection of brake pads and discs for wear or damage (wheels off inspection)
• Check wheel bearings for excessive play or noise
• Check park brake and adjust where applicable and required
• Rotate tyres (if required)
• Check air conditioning system/temperature
• WOF (second option only)
