- Sylvie’s Big Adventure was inspired by playing with snails as a child, when NZ author Donna Blaber would borrow her brother’s toy transporter truck and take them on driving holidays around the garden. Until now she has always wondered: just how far can a little snail travel?
- Donna spent most of her childhood with her nose in a book. She grew up in a small town with a tiny library run by volunteers with huge hearts. Donna now has a Masters degree in Creative Writing, and enjoys writing stories set in NZ. She lives in Northland with her husband, daughters, and much-loved Labrador.
