General Bike Service - Option for a Comprehensive Bike Service

General Service - $45:

• Wheels checked for loose spokes
• Rims inspected for damage and dents
• Dents removed if possible
• Bottom bracket checked for rotation without play, stripped and re-greased if possible
• Brakes checked for worn cables and pads, levers and cables lubed if needed 
• Brakes checked for secure fitting
• Brake pads adjusted to hit the rim and avoid the tyre
• Tyres inspected for cuts, embedded objects and lack of tread, tubes inflated to correct pressure
• Steering checked for free movement without play, bars stem and saddle checked for correct fitting
• Chain checked for correct tension
• Sprockets inspected for excessive wear
• Gears adjusted for best possible function, cables, derailleurs and shift levers inspected for wear
• Please note: replacing worn or damaged pads, gears, brake inner and outer cables incur no extra labour charge to fit. All other new parts and any oil that are fitted/used will incur an extra labour charge – quoted and confirmed with you before any work is carried out

Road Bike Comprehensive Service - $90:

• Gears adjusted to correct cable tension, high/low settings
• Derailleur pivots & shifters lubed
• Derailleur hanger aligned
• Brake callipers aligned & pads adjusted
• Cable wear checked
• Fork removed, headset cleaned and re-greased
• Handlebar, stem, seat, checked & tightened
• Crank Arms removed, bottom bracket cleaned and re-greased
• Chain lubricated
• Chain wear checked
• Tyres checked for cuts & wear, inflated to optimal pressure
• Rims checked for wear
• Loose spokes tightened and wheels tensioned if required
• Hub bearings cleaned and re-greased
• Sprockets & chainring wear checked & bolts tightened
• Frame, rims, forks, tyre sidewalls, all wiped clean
• Please note: any part stated as being checked means if there is a specific problem there will be an additional labour charge to fix it. If your bike requires extra work or new parts we will contact you to discuss.The price of $90.00 covers labour only. In addition is a $3.00 consumables charge. This includes a clean rag used for each service, plus bike cleaning products & lubricant. Often new gear/brake cables may be required to restore your bike to optimal working condition. This is an extra part and labour charge. We will assess your bike in store and advise of the cost if your bike needs this 

Mountain Bike Comprehensive Service - $112.50

• Gears adjusted to correct cable tension, high/low settings
• Derailleur pivots & shifters lubed
• Derailleur hanger aligned

• Sprockets & chainring wear checked & bolts tightened
