Intro Class (one-hour):
This Pilates Introductory class is one-on-one, enabling the instructor to help you understand how you can get the most out of your Peak Pilates sessions. This dedicated one-on-one time is essential when you enrol as a new member. During this session, you will go over terminology, positioning, muscle activation, an individual postural analysis, and an orientation of the studio. This will give you a foundation to build on during subsequent lessons.
The introductory session gives you the opportunity to discuss what you hope to achieve from the class and any health issues or injuries that you may be concerned about.
Reformer Class (one-hour):
The Reformer class™ offers a more varied workout. The specialist Pilates Reformer™ machines use a spring-loaded system to assist you with your posture and strength.
Pilates Reformer™ classes are progressive programmes and are great for all ages and abilities.
Mat Class (one-hour):
Not valid at Next Generation location - if you would like to redeem your voucher at Next Generation location, this class can be booked at an alternative studio - just let the Team at Next Generation know and they'll talk you through the next steps.
The group session Pilates mat classes are fun and challenging, and a great way to familiarise yourself with a Pilates workout that utilises your own body weight and control for positioning and strength. Classes may sometimes involve an additional apparatus such as swiss balls, foam roller, therabands or magic circles to really challenge you. This can also add a fun element to the exercise.
Class sizes are limited.
