About Vinyasa and Yin Yoga:
Vinyasa Flow (Yang) is a contemporary style, that coordinates movement with the breath as you flow from pose to pose. It is an energetic practise where you can expect to work up a sweat as you train your endurance, build strength and improve your balance.
Yin Yoga is a passive practise that helps to revitalise the connective tissue and fascia throughout the body by stimulating the circulatory system. It is a practice of stillness as you hold each posture for 5-8 minutes. While your mind makes up every excuse to move, you learn to watch, understand, then manage your thoughts. The benefits of this practise reach many aspects of both our physical and mental wellbeing, it has been said to help increase your flexibility, flush the body with new oxygen and nutrients while teaching us to tap into the parasympathetic nervous system.
