When you taste Tuscan Blend extra virgin olive oil you will pick up the fruitiness and butteriness of the Frantoio and then you will get the peppery after-taste on the back palate from the Leccino olives
These varieties are the predominant olives of Tuscany and were chosen for their fresh, peppery and intense flavours
The vintage has similar characteristics to the New York Gold award-winning 2015 vintage - fruity, and buttery with a gentle pepperiness on the back palate
Suggested Uses: Use this oil to dress salads or as a general-purpose cooking oil. Great for mushrooms, skinless chicken thighs, eye fillet steak or fish fillets. It will bring out the flavours well, particularly if using herbs and rubs
