Tip:

If the fresh crayfish are still alive exhibiting some movement, just put them in the freezer or a sink full of tap-water for 30 mins. This will send them to sleep.

Cooking Instructions

Bring water to boil
Once the water is boiling put the crayfish in the pot. The water will stop boiling at this point.
Once the water starts to boil again give the crayfish 7 – 8 minutes to cook through. The shell of the crayfish should be a vibrant orange/red colour.
Pull the crayfish out of the boiling water and cool instantly in icy cold water.
