Itinerary:
Day One: Hanoi Arrival (No meals)
- Arrive in Hanoi and check-in at your hotel, then enjoy a complimentary welcome drink. Overnight in Maison D' Hanoi Boutique Hotel (Premium Room) in Hanoi or Similar three-star hotel, or Hotel four-star in Hanoi : The Light Hanoi Hotel (or similar)
- Free time to discover Hanoi Old Quarter
Day Two: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay - Fishing Village and Kayaking (B, L, D)
- 7.30am - 8.00am: Pick up from your hotel. Depart for Halong city through the countryside, farmlands and Red River Delta
- 10.15am: Stopover on the way for a refreshment break
- 12.30pm: Arrive at Halong harbour, transfer to the Legacy Legend Cruise by tender, enjoy welcome drinks and check-in to your cabin. Lunch is served while cruising through Halong bay toward Lan Ha bay, passing: Bai Tu long bay, Ba Hang fishing villages, Dinh Huong islets, Fighting Cock rock ( four-star cruise option in Halong Bay : Oasis Cruise )
- Option 1: Rowing small local bamboo boat (around 45 minutes) to visit floating fishing village. Your guide will give you some information and interesting facts about this fascinating village and its local community
- Option 2: Kayak around the bay. You will have around 45 minutes to explore the tranquil bay yourself and Vung Vieng fishing village
- 5.15pm: Back to the Legacy Legend Cruise, cruising to Drum Cave for docking and sleeping. Have a relaxing afternoon - make the most of sunbathing on deck. Take pictures along the way. Enjoy the small party with fresh fruit and Vietnamese tea
Day Three: Halong Bay and Cave - Back to harbour (B, L)
- Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt
- 7.00am: Breakfast, coffee and tea and served while cruising ahead to Halong Bay. You'll pass many beautiful islets on the bay: Head Man's Face islet, Saddle Horse islet, Fairy Lake, Drum Cave, Virgin Cave
- 8.00am: Visit splendid Surprise (Sung Sot) Cave. This is one of the most beautiful grottoes in Halong Bay. You may be surprised by the imposing stalagmites, stalactites and the accompanying legends
- Optional: If you don't want to visit the cave, you can arrange to visit Titop Island where you can swim at Halong Surprise Cave's nice beach or climb up to the top and enjoy Halong Bay Panorama
- 9.15am: Back to Legacy Legend boat. Take time to refresh and relax before checking out. You'll keep sailing back to the harbour, passing many beautiful islets and island on the Bai Tu Long Bay
- 10.30am: Vietnamese cooking class
- 11.00am: An early lunch is served
- 12.00pm: Arrive at the pier and farewell the crew
- 12.45pm: Return from Halong to Hanoi, arriving at around 5.00pm
Day Four: Explore Hanoi (B, L)
- 7.45am - 8.30am: Pick-up from your hotel and take a short drive to Tran Quoc Pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake
- 9.00am: Visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum
- 10.00am: Visit One Pillar Pagoda, a symbol of Hanoi
- 11.00am: Visit the colorful features of the 54 ethnic groups of Vienam in the Ethnology Museum
- 1.00pm: Head to a local restaurant in the Hanoi Old Quarter
- 2.00pm: Visit the Temple of Literature, the most famous temple situated in Hanoi that also functioned as Vietnam's first university. It was first constructed in 1070 under King Ly Nhan Tong and dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars
- 3.30pm: Drive to Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Ngoc Son Temple dedicated to Van Xuong saint and former general commander Tran Hung Dao for his struggle against Mongolians. You'll also get to see the beautiful Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake before you head back to your hotel
Day Five: (B)
- Enjoy some free time after breakfast and then you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight home
