April 11th 2020: Depart on NZ77 Auckland to Taipei
On your arrival at Taoyuan international airport at 17:00 you will meet your guide. You will then be transported to the night markets in Taoyuan. After the markets you'll be transferred to your hotel for check-in
April 12th: Taoyuan- Sun Moon Lake - Chiayi (B)
The day starts with a drive to Sun Moon Lake and you'll also experience a private lake tour, later in the afternoon you will drive to Chiayi to check in to the hotel.
April 13th: Chiayi-Alishan-Chiayi (B)
Visit Alishan National Scenic Area for a forest walking tour visiting Sisters Pond, Shouchen Temple and the Fallen Giant Sacred Tree.
April 14th: Chiayi-Kaohsiung (B)
You'll join a tour to Ten Drum Culture Villiage which is one of the largest art villages with 7.5 hectares. Next, you will travel further south to Kaohsiung where you will experience a light show at MRT Kaohsiung. In the evening you will experience the Liuhe Night Market which is one of the most popular night markets in Taiwan.
April 15th: Kaohsiung-Taitung (B)
This morning you will travel up to Taitung via Southern Link Highway. When you arrive in the afternoon you can check-in and enjoy the hot pools.
April 16th: Taitung-Hualien (B)
Get ready to set off on an exciting East Coast Tour. The East Coast National Scenic Area is known as the last unspoiled land. The tour will stop at Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai,Shitiping (stone steps) with an Aims Tribe Dacne Show.
April 17th: Hualien-Taroko (B,L,D)
Visit some iconic places this morning visiting the Taroko National Park, Swallow Grotto, Eternal Spring Shrine and Taroko George Gateway.
April 18th: Taroko-Yilan (B)
You will head to Yilan to get ready to test your cooking skills with DIY Green Onion Cake a traditional Taiwanese local food. You will then proceed to national Traditional Arts & Culture Center, which is designed with the goal of preserving Taiwan's traditional arts.
April 19th: Yilan-Taipei-Jiufen-Shifen-Taipei (B)
This morning you will set off to Taipei city and on the way visit Jiufen Village, Shifen Waterfall, in Shifen you will have a Sky Lantern.
April 20th: Taipei City Tour (B)
You will take a tour of Taipei which will include visiting the 101 Observatory, national Palace Museum, Shilin Night Market.
April 21st: Taipei-Auckland
Day of leisure until airport transfer on flight NZ78 you'll arrive back in NZ on 22nd April 2020.
