Itinerary:
Day One - Fly to Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi and be welcomed at the Noi Bai Internation Airport. You will then be transported to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure. Three star hotel: La Beaute De Hotel - superior room. Four star hotel: Gold Silk Hotel - deluxe room or Emerald Water Hotel & Spa - deluxe room
Day Two - Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat Village (B/L)
After breakfast your bus will pick you up at around 6.30am and head for Sapa where you will see spectacular views of the rice terraced mountains and the local people in their colourful costumes. You will then take a walking tour through the local market and visit Cat Cat Village which is home to the Black H'Mong hill tribe. Spend over night at a homestay.
Day Three - Lao Chai – Ta Van – Bus to Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast drive south to Muong Hoa Valley, the home of the largest terraced rice fields in Vietnam, where you will go on a two and a half hour trek through farmlands, rolling hills and villages. Return to Sapa and visit the market and then head back to the office to get the bus back to Hanoi where you will make your own way to get back to the hotel
Day Four - Private Street Food Tour (B/L or D)
Choose one of two tours either, 10.30am - 1.30pm or 5.30pm - 8.30pm. A highly recommended tour that will bring to you a new feeling about Vietnam cuisine. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day Five - Hanoi to Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Your guide will pick you up and start your journey east to Halong Bay through the rice villages of the Red River Delta. On arrival board a traditional junk boat and spend the day cruising through the beautiful 3000 limestone islets. The boat is anchored for the evening in middle of a stunning lagoon where you will enjoy a wonderful seafood meal and enjoy an evening dip off the side of the boat. You will sleep overnight on the luxurious boat.
Day Six - Halong to Hanoi - Night Train to Hue (B/L)
Wake up to tai chi on board and continue cruising the beautiful waters. Stay on the boat before returning to Hanoi for your overnight train to Hue. Overnight on a shared 4 berths cabin with A/C.
(If you don’t want to share cabin with the other passengers, please let us know to book a whole four berths cabin or a cabin with two berths. Surcharge is applicable).
Day Seven - Hue Arrival
Upon arrival to Hue, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for check in. Spend the rest of the day free at leisure. Three start hotel: Hue Serene Palace - super room. Four star hotel: Asia Hotel - deluxe room.
Day Eight - Hue City Tour (B/L)
Hue is the centre of Vietnam's dynastic past and is a dignified and scholarly city. Spend the morning exploring the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City and then visit the Royal Tomb of Minh Mang and the Thien Mu Pagoda. Afterwards continue on to the Dong Ba market.
Day Nine - Hue –Transfer to Hoi An (B)
Take the scenic route to Hoi An, a UNESCO world heritage site. Once you have arrived visit Hoi An and see a lovely old-style house, Japanese Bridge, a Chinese temple and the market. Spend the night in Hoi An. Three star hotel: Vihn Hung Library Hotel - super room. Four star hotel: Lantan Hotel - super room.
Day Ten - Tra Que Village (B/light lunch)
Cycle into the countryside to the small farming community of Tra Que Vegetable Village. Here you can enjoy the lush green countryside and see the farmers at work, later learn to make Vietnamese spring roll and free on foot massage by herbs. Enjoy a free afternoon back in Hoi An.
Day Eleven - Hoi An (B)
Have the day to yourself, free to your leisure where you can explore, relax or take a trip to the beach.
Day Twelve - Hoi An – Fly to Ho Chi Minh (B)
After breakfast the driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport where you will board a flight to Ho Chi Mihn. On arrival, your guide will meet you and transfer you to to your hotel for check in. Spend the rest of your day as you please. Three start hotel: GK Central Hotel - superior room. Four star hotel: Silverland Yen Hotel - deluxe room.
Day Thirteen - Ho Chi Mihn – Mekong Delta (B/L)
You will be picked up at your hotel and head for My Tho, where you will take a boat ride along the river past the stilt houses and fruit plantations as you head to My Tho - a floating fishing farm. Then head to Tortoise Island and have lunch in the orchard. Continue a boat road through the natural canal Tan Thach in Ben Tre. Next you will visit a family business that epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle and a trek through the the fruit plantations and return back to the village. After a full fay of activity you will drive back to Ho Chi Mihn, where you will spend the evening.
Day Fourteen - Ho Chi Mihn – Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel, you will take a half-day private excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels.Today, the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction, giving you a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam War must have been like. Head back to the city after the four hour excursion. Free for leisure in your own way.
Day 15: Fly back home/ next destination (B)
After breakfast, our driver (no tour guide) will pick you up at lobby of hotel in Ho Chi Minh and transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for flight back home.
