2019 Itinerary:
Thursday 14th March
On arrival at the Adina on Queen check in for a four-night stay. Please note, if you have a morning arrival your hotel room may not be available until early afternoon, however, the hotel will be happy to store your luggage. This evening, join other travellers for welcome drinks in the hotel.
Friday 15 March
This morning head to Albert Park at leisure utilising the trams only a short distance away. Your Grand Prix ticket provides you with free public transport to the track over the course of the weekend. Over the next three days get out and enjoy Formula 1® Racing, including practice sessions, displays, demonstrations and parades throughout the day.
Saturday 16 March
On this day, make your way to the circuit at your leisure utilising the trams for more racing action.
Sunday 17 March
This morning, make your way to the circuit in time for the Formula 1® 2019 Australian Grand Prix warm-up followed by a parade of the Formula 1™ drivers. At 5.00pm the Formula 1® 2019 Australian Grand Prix commences with a race duration of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Monday 18 March
This morning please check out of your room, settling your account for any items of a personal nature.
Grandstand & Spectator Details:
The packages are inclusive of Schumacher, Waite, or Clark Grandstand tickets. The ticket gives you the freedom to roam the circuit and check out the action from a number of different vantage points. The Albert Park circuit has six huge viewing mounds strategically located around the circuit, four of which have superscreen viewing so you don't miss any of the action.
- WAITE
Turn 11 &12
Waite Grandstand is just past Brocky’s Hill, in the main general admission catering and merchandise zone as Clark. Spectators in sections A-C see the cars mostly from behind going into Turn 12 whereas sections D-E face the cars as well as the glare of the sun.
- SCHUMACHER
Turn 16
This numbered grandstand is located at the exit of Turn 15. It offers views of Turns 15 and 16 as well as the last corner of the circuit and the pit entry. A video wall is opposite the stand.
- CLARKE
Turn 9 & 10
Clark Grandstand overlooks both the braking zone at Turn 9 and the long Turn 10 sweeping bend. Favour a seat as high up as possible so as to see above the fence. Sit in Section A to see the oncoming cars out of Turn 8 as well as any passing manoeuvres. From there the cars can also be seen from behind going into Turn 10. This grandstand faces the sun during Practice 2, Qualifying and the race so come prepared with a hat.
Grandstand upgrades to further four-day reserved Grandstand seating is available at additional costs. There are four further Grandstand locations to choose from (Prost, Fangio, Jones and Brabham) around Albert Park circuit and the supplement is determined by the grandstand location.
