Day One – Arrival in Port Douglas
On arrival in Cairns airport you will be transferred to your Port Douglas accommodation by Exemplar Coaches & Limousines. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day Two – Opal Reef
Take an unforgettable journey to Australia's outer Great Barrier Reef. Visiting Opal Reef, you will have the opportunity to explore pristine coral reef at three unique sites. This dedicated snorkelling experience is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the Great Barrier Reef without divers. With much of the reef's colour and marine life within a couple of metres of the water's surface, snorkelling offers all swimmers, regardless of their skill level, the opportunity to see this diverse eco-system up close.
Day Three – Cape Tribulation & Daintree
Experience the magnificent and untouched World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest, the oldest living rainforest in the world at 160 million years, with Daintree Tours. Visit the only place in the world where two World Heritage listed areas - The Daintree Rainforest and The Great Barrier Reef exist side by side forming one of the most diverse ecosystems on earth. Spot crocodiles in the wild, sample delicious locally made tropical ice creams, marvel at the beauty of this area from Alexandra Lookout and take in the rainforest from the forest floor with informative guided walks and if you are lucky you may spot a cassowary.
Day Four – Port Douglas
Today enjoy a bird’s eye view with GBR Helicopters. View Marina Mirage and the vibrant village of Port Douglas, before exploring the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest from above. Your pilot will showcase the diversity of this magnificent region of the Tropical North. Photo opportunities abound as you fly past the icons of Mossman Gorge and breath-taking waterfalls along the Great Dividing Range before soaring over Alexander Range and Cow Bay, joining the coast at Cooper Creek and following the beaches, to capture that postcard picture of the Daintree River on your return to Port Douglas. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Relax by the pool, perhaps do some shopping and explore more of Port Douglas.
Day Five – Depart Port Douglas
Today Exemplar Coaches & Limousines will transport you back to Cairns airport for your departure.

About Port Douglas:
Port Douglas is blessed not only by its tropical climate, but also by its proximity to nature at its finest. It is an ideal point from which to explore the Great Barrier Reef, and it is gateway to the Mossman Gorge, Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Park, which at its southerly end is about 30 kilometres by road from Port Douglas. There is a wide range of operators in town offering such activities as horse riding and reef, rainforest, 4WD and coach tours. Four Mile Beach is the place to swim and relax, while Macrossan Street has a good collection of cafes, restaurants and shops. Another collection of food and shopping outlets can be found at Marina Mirage, a 5 minute walk from the town centre. Other attractions worth seeing are the Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary and the Ben Cropp Shipwreck Museum. The former is a multiple environment tourism award winner, where you can wander through rainforest, wetland, woodland and grassland habitats. The centre hosts a large variety of fauna, including wallabies, kangaroos, koalas and crocodiles, and bird-lovers will not be disappointed by the sanctuary’s collection.
