Itinerary:
Day One: Airport to Columbo
You will be greeted at the airport, then checked-in to your hotel where you can relax and recover from your flight
Day Two: Colombo to Dambulla/Sigiriya
You will explore Dambulla/Sigiriya which has the UNESCO World Heritage Site Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also known as The Lion Rock. This is a cloud swept city built by King Kassapa between 447 - 495 AD. Rising 200 metres from the plains enjoy stunning evening views before returning to your hotel.

Day Three: Dambulla/Sigiriya
You'll take a trip to Polonnaruwa, the other ancient city in Sri Lanka's so-called “Cultural Triangle”. It's inspiring architecture, rock carvings and murals reflect the ancient kingdom's intriguing history. You'll also visit Polonnaruwa Museum and Hiriwadunna Village before returning to the hotel.

Day Four: Dambulla/Sigiriya to Kandy
Today you'll discover Kandy via Dambulla. On the way you will explore Dambulla, a cave temple which was first constructed in 103BC and 89-77 BC during the reign of King Vattagamini. On the way to Kandy you'll also visit a spice garden. Kandy's tooth relic temple is near the Watapuluwa area, north of the city, where you'll also visit the Sri Dalada Maligawa. Shop in Kandy and attend a folklore show with Kandyan dancers and drummers and fire-walk performances before returning for the evening to your hotel.

Day Five: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Visit one of the finest botanical gardens in Asia, the Peradeniya dating back to the 14th century. You'll journey to a tea factory passing the Ramboda Falls through hills, forests and vast green tea estates. You can enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Ceylon Tea while also witnessing the manufacturing process. You'll reach Nuwara Eliya in the late arvo also known as the city of clouds, sitting at 1980m above sea level where you'll check into your hotel.

Day Six: Nuwara Eliya to Yala
You'll be on your way to Yala today, arriving in the afternoon to explore. Home to a National Park and Wildlife sanctuary with the option for an evening safari being offered, Yala has a lot to offer before retiring to your hotel.

Day Seven: Yala to Bentota/Beruwala
An early morning safari encounter at Yala National Park will have you up in no time and ready for your travel to Bentota/ Beruwala. You'll visit the still fishing in Weligama which is great for photo opportunities, and then sightsee Galle, a UNESCO recognized world heritage site consisting of an old Dutch fort with ramparts and a lighthouse with a panoramic harbour view. End the day with the moonstone mines, shop till you drop and then rest up at your hotel.

Day Eight: Bentota/Beruwala
This is the "Fun & Fun" capital of Sri Lanka with a whole day to relax and enjoy the beach. Bentota offers a wide range of activities such as snorkelling/scuba diving along its shores to more advanced distant shipwreck exploring with PADI qualified instructors. Windsurfing, water skiing and jet skis can also be hired with an optional visit to a turtle hatchery before relaxing back at your hotel.

Day Nine: Bentota/Beruwala to Airport via Colombo
Today you'll be heading to the airport with plenty of stops along the way including a Madu Ganga River safari boat excursion, a city tour of Colombo, a stop at the Old Dutch Hospital, Colombo's old racecourse and time to shop. Thereafter proceed to the airport with an abundance of memories from your mystique adventures in Sri Lanka.
