Queen Suite:
The Queen Suite features a luxury queen-sized bed, lounge area, work desk, and spacious bathroom. About Powderhorn Chateau:
The iconic Powderhorn Chateau building was the original home to F.J Carter of the famous Carter saw milling family. It was transported to its current site and opened for business in the summer of 1989. Its addition of the hotel in 1994 made this a hive of activity not only in winter but in summer as well with the location being right on the border of the Tongariro World National Heritage Park, providing entertainment for all walks of life.
The rooms at the Powderhorn Chateau boast high wooden ceilings and full timber interiors giving you a Swiss chalet feel, even though you cannot travel you can be transported. All rooms have their own ensuites and sitting areas to enjoy your morning coffee. Balconies, bathtubs and twin configuration available on direct request with the hotel.
