Itinerary:
Day 1, 14 Aug 2020: Arrive in Taupo – Mt. Ruapehu Arrival in Taupo in the morning. You will have 2 meeting points - Town Centre (in front of Taupo I-Site) and Airport. Your Tour Leader will meet you. 9.00am: Transfer to Mt. Ruapehu, Whakapapa. Get on board Sky Waka Gondola, one of the highest and longest such rides. Enjoy the stunning scenery until you reach Knoll Ridge Chalet, where a delicious lunch of French finger food and beverages await you. Enjoy your time in the snow, before getting down. Transfer to Chateau Tongariro Hotel. Check in and refresh, before you head for a 3-course Dinner at the Hotel restaurant.

Day 2, 15 Aug 2020: Taupo Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to Taupo for a fantastic slice of France! When you arrive at the Hotel, you will be greeted by The Wine Knight Francis Auclert, a well known French Sommelier. Check in and head to the Lobby. You will enjoy a game of Pétanque under the watchful eyes of Francis! After lunch (own expense), laugh out loud with a game of Chaise Musical, musical chair with French music and commands. In the evening, The Wine Knight will show you how to properly enjoy wine by discovering the steps to master a wine tasting. Taste 6 types of wines from various French Regions, offering a range of style and grape varietals! He will thrill you with his Sabrage Demonstration. He will also assist you with Wine Pairing for your Dinner.

Day 3, 16 Aug 2020: Taupo Breakfast at the Hotel. You'll enjoy a leisurely Cruise aboard Chartered Boat (Waikare) from Chris Jolly Outdoors. Fishing License is included if you fancy a bit of fishing. Enjoy a nice French-themed Lunch with 2 Standard Drinks on board! The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure.
