Itinerary:
Day One - Arrive in Delhi (B)
Greet and meet your driver at the airport, from there you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in a hotel.
Day Two - Old and New Delhi (B)
After breakfast visit Red fort, Jamia Mosque followed by a short walk around Chandni Chowk Market, Raj Ghat (cremation place of Mahatma Gandhi) pass through the city centre Connaught Place, India Gate and parliament house. Time to stop for lunch if necessary (on direct payment basis), post lunch you will visit Lodhi Garden, Lotus
temple and Qutub Minar.
Evening free. Optional you may enjoy a quality time at Rudra “Live show about the history of Delhi” followed by dinner (charges apply, payable direct).Overnight at the hotel.
Day Three - Delhi - Agra (B)
This morning after breakfast you drive to Agra. Agra is the quintessential Mughal City. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort). Besides the historical monuments, one can also explore Agra’s rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets.
Evening free to relax in the hotel. Optional you may also enjoy musical Bollywood live show "Mohabbat The Taj” (charges apply, payable direct). Overnight in hotel.
Day Four - Agra - Gwalior (B)
At sunrise, you'll visit the world famous Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. After breakfast, you'll check-out from hotel and drive to Gwalior. Upon arrival, you'll visit Gwalior Fort, The Gujari Mahal and Man Mandir Palace. Overnight at the hotel.
Day Five - Gwalior - Orchha - Khajuraho (B)
After breakfast, you'll start the drive to Khajuraho, a medieval temple town situated on the Betwa River in the state of Madhya Pradesh) where the tour visits the fort complex consisting of palaces, temples, cenotaphs, and memorials. After you will continue your drive and visit Khajuraho. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day Six - Khajuraho (B)
After breakfast, you will visit the Eastern and Western and Eastern Group of Temples. Enjoy the afternoon free at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day Seven - Khajuraho - Chitrakoot (B)
After breakfast check-out from hotel and drive to Chitrakoot, a holy town of religious, cultural, historical and archaeological importance. In the afternoon you'll visit Chitrakoot, Janki Kund, Ramghat, Bharat Milap Temple, Sati Anusuya Ashram, Gupt Godavari, Sita Rasoi. Overnight at the hotel.
Day Eight - Chitrakoot - Varanasi (B)
After breakfast, you will drive to Varanasi. Upon arrival in Varanasi check-in to the hotel. During the evening you will witness the Aarti ceremony, a very powerful and uplifting spiritual ritual on the River Ganges. Overnight at the hotel.
Day Nine - Varanasi – Delhi (Overnight train)
Early morning today you leave for a boat ride on River Ganges. After the boat ride we return to the hotel for breakfast before embarking for Sarnath, you will also visit the Archeological Museum. In the afternoon you'll visit the Vishwanath temple, also called the golden temple because of the gold-plating on its roof and drive pass Bharat Mata Mandir and Benaras Hindu University. Evening transfer to railway station to board the train to Delhi Overnight in Train.
Day Ten - Arrive in Delhi
Train Reaches Delhi early in the morning, on arrival transfer to hotel. After breakfast, you have the entire day free to relax in the hotel. Optional you may take a full day shopping tour followed by Live Bollywood show “Kingdom of dreams” (charges apply, payable direct). Your tour includes the visit of local markets of Delhi.
