Day 1:
You will Arrive and stay in Te Anau at the 4 Star Distinction Luxmore Hotel in a Deluxe Double/Twin Room (for 2 People) or a Two Bedroom Deluxe Suite (4 or more people). You will enjoy dinner and drinks in Baliez Café & Bar with a dinner main and drink each (selected items from Family Feast Menu)
Day 2:
You will receive a Fully Cooked Breakfast in Bailiez Café & Bar for you and the whole family. Then you will join a leisurely small group excursion to Milford Sound from Te Anau, with a Boat Cruise along the full length of the fiord. Their relaxed timetable ensures plenty of opportunities for guests to enjoy short walks, photographic stops and exploration with the nature guide. From Te Anau you will picked up from your hotel by Trips & Tramps at 8.30am (until 31st October and 7.45 from 1st November onward) and travel along the spectacular Milford Road with local, experienced nature guides/drivers, eager to share their stories, knowledge and passion for the area, bringing the mysteries of Fiordland to life! At Milford Sound you will join a scheduled extended nature style boat cruise of Milford Sound to the Tasman Sea. The cruise provides excellent indoor and outdoor viewing opportunities of the waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife!
Day 3:
Wake to a Cooked Breakfast in Bailiez Café & Bar for the whole family before Checking out of hotel at 10am you will meet at the Fiordland Jet office by 10.00am where you will embark on a Fiordland Jet Boat "Pure Wilderness" Experience. Enjoy the thrill of jet boating down the majestic trout filled Waiau River, to the serene Lake Manapouri, step foot into ancient beach forests and learn all about this unique location among Fiordland National Park. Your journey begins with an exhilarating jet boat ride down the Waiau river. A picturesque spot, the Waiau river is lined by ancient beech tree forest and is the Anduin River; the great river of Middle Earth! Featured in the opening scene from The Lord of the Rings! Experience the thrill and excitement as you cruise down the powerful, surging, Waiau River.
