- Friday: all stalls and static displays are open to public. Practice sessions for the air display team at 10.00am - 12.00pm and 1.00pm - 3.00pm. Special aviiation event will be held over Lake Wanaka
- Saturday and Sunday: air display 10.00am - 4.00pm
In the Air:
Come and see over 80 aircraft including the Spitfire, Kittyhawk, Mustang and RNZAF's Black Falcons aerobatic display, the Regional Air Forces modern military aircraft and helicopters. WOW will also be showcasing various aircraft including the Catalina at a free event on the Wanaka lakefront at 4.30pm on Friday, April 10th.
On the Ground:
Static displays include Warhorses (military vehicles), sport aircraft, stationary engines, market and aviation trade stands. Taste wine and food from Central Otago, make use of the special children's area and purchase WOW memorabilia. Parking is complimentary with a park and ride option for the disabled and elderly.

Warbirds over Wanaka is a biennial air show in Wanaka, held on the Easter weekend of even-numbered years since 1988. It is held at Wanaka Airport, 10 km south-east of Wanaka, in the southern South Island of New Zealand.
