• Put simply, the Solapure pool purifier operates using a chemical process called ionization
• The solar panel at the top of the device provides a safe, low voltage to the central Copper core, causing a release of Copper Ions (Cu+) into the water
• By introducing minute amounts of specific minerals in water, microorganisms such as algae and bacteria cannot survive
• This is a completely naturally occurring process
• While these ions, or atoms, are totally safe and nontoxic to humans and animals, microscopic life forms are unable to exist under their influence. Unlike chlorine, which loses potency after only hours, the mineral ions produced remain effective for weeks
