Two Riedel Central Otago Pinot Noir Glasses

Ten generations of the Riedel family have produced some of the world's finest crystal creations for more than two centuries. The ninth generation of this glass-making family, Professor Claus Josef Riedel, was the first glass designer to recognise that the size and shape of a glass affects one's perception of the aroma and taste of wine.

The Heart to Heart series offers varietal-specific glassware at a price point not achieved before by Riedel. Recommended for Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo or Mencía varietals, the Riedel 'Heart to Heart' Pinot Noir glasses have been designed to appreciate and enhance moderate tannin, high acidity red wines. They are similar to so-called "balloon" glasses, but somewhat narrower, directing the flow of wine to the front palate to highlight the fruit and temper the acidity. Like all Riedel glasses they are dishwasher safe.
