Three modes:

• Personal alarm - Holding down the black button on the right side of the alarm will emit 120 screeching decibels of alarm. This piercing noise is designed to alert other people to your situation and so ward off trouble. Taking your finger off the black button stops the noise.
• Bright LED Light - Holding down the red button on the left side of the alarm will emit a bright LED light. This light will illuminate dark places revealing anyone who may be hiding. Taking your finger off the red button turns off the light.
• Panic Mode - Pulling the pin at the top of the alarm activates the panic mode. In panic mode, the SkimGuard personal alarm emits a continuous alarm until the pin is returned. The continuous sound is also designed as a call for help and the pin activation frees up your hands to defend yourself if needs be.
