Succulents (small, medium & large cactus):
Your succulents will be happiest in a sunny window, or in a bright room with plenty of sunlight. It can tolerate cold and only needs to be watered when very dry.We recommend watering them every 10 -14 days in the warmer months and every month or so when cooler. Simply soak the entire kokedama ball in the sink, or in a bowl of water, making sure to not get water in the top of the Koke. Use room temperature water and allow it to have a good soak for up to ten minutes or so. Give it a little squeeze to get rid of any excess water before you return it to its spot. As your Koke grows you can trim off the new shoots and repot them to grow more plants.
Herbs (thyme herb):
Your Herb Koke will be the perfect addition to any kitchen or table. It is intended for you to use, whether it be a spring in your favourite dish or a leaf to adorn your plate. To water, submerge your Koke in water for 10 minutes, being mindful to only submerge the moss container and not the plant. Remove the Koke from the water and gently squeeze it to drain excess water or allow it to drip-dry. Plants will typically need to be watered twice weekly. Judge by your herb, though. If it looks dry or droopy, water. If not, let it go a little longer between watering. When it's all done you can easily replace your herb with another plant.
House Plants & Ferns (money/plant jade, fern & spider plant):
Fern and House Plant Kokedama prefer brighter light and less water than might be expected, though they should not be allowed to dry out completely. Your Kokedama will be happiest in a sunny window, or in a bright room with plenty of indirect sunlight. Depending on the size of your kokedama, fill a bowl, bucket or sink with room temperature water. Place your kokedama in the water, plant side up. Push the moss ball down so that it is fully submerged and begins to absorb water. Allow to soak for 10-25 minutes, or until fully saturated with water. Remove the kokedama from the water, and gently squeeze the moss ball to allow excess water to drain. Allow your kokedama to drip dry before replacing it to its given home.
