General issues which will impede the installation of Ground Moisture Barrier:
- Any plumbing leaks must be fixed prior to booking the install
- Any rubbish under the house must be cleared prior to installation failure to remove will incur extra costs
- Variance of ground to joist heights under the entire crawl space
- Pipes and Electrical inhibiting access
- Any issue which needs to be attended to prior to installation will be identified in the site assessment
Health and Safety:
- Provision of adequate access (manhole) to the underfloor is the responsibility of the owner and needs to be at least 350mm in height (safe clearance to work under)
- There must be clearance from the ground to the bottom of the floor joist of 350mm for installers to lay a Ground Moisture Barrier
