How it works:
Each day, guests are separated into our various supervised play areas. Each area is designed to suit various personalities, activity levels and temperaments. This is to ensure that your dog is in an environment that suits their individual needs.
As your dog ages, grows and develops, the team have then have the ability to switch play areas as they build their confidence or as their play habits change. The play areas are designed to encourage socialisation and comfort, and are rotated to provide mental stimulation. This is to avoid the dogs from getting bored, which can cause them to be anxious, stressed and sometimes destructive.
The team provide a range of outdoor play equipment and sleeping platforms. As well as plenty of water to keep them hydrated. They are also secured by wooden fences and ventilated to help keep the air fresh and clean. There is plenty of natural light provided during the daylight hours.
There is limited spaces each day to ensure your pet’s absolute safety and comfort. The rubberised flooring is gentle on their joints and pads, and also allows the team to easily sanitise the surfaces with pet-safe cleaning products throughout the day.
All new guests are required to complete a meet and greet session to ensure they are a good fit for group play facility. The Dog Den accept puppies that are 12 weeks or older and once they are out of their vaccination period.
About The Dog Den:
The team at The Dog Den know that being a dog owner is a life changing experience and an amazing adventure. The idea of The Dog Den was born in 2015. Past experience from another dog care is what brought the idea to life as the owner's, Steve and Helen, noticed that their own dog was given a better quality of life, as he was able to socialise with other dogs and would spend the day playing while they were away from the house. The Dog Den is locally owned by Steve and Helen and family, who are local Shore residents. Steve and Helen have a passion for animals and have always had dogs in their lives.
