‘Elisabeth’ was born from the idea of love. The co-founder grew up with a massive sweet tooth and a huge love for artisan chocolates and desserts. Growing up, chocolate and desserts were always a bright, colourful, magical sweet treat that for some reason got a lot more serious once an adult.
After graduating from art school in Auckland, with a quirky creative style, she was always filled with a big idea of making chocolate fun again. For three years she taste-tested a huge variety of chocolate, all around New Zealand as well as Europe, in a search to find the best of the best.
After meeting her husband they dreamed about bringing her passion for art and a shared love for chocolate together. The result? Superior quality, made with honest ingredients. They have handpicked their chocolate and desserts, mainly collaborating with local artisans.
