Kampung - Authentic Taste of Malaysia, has opened its doors on Arthur Street in Wellington's CBD. Previous owners and renowned chefs at Kampong, Rajah and Silas welcome you with open arms to their restaurant where you can sit back and experience deliciously authentic Malaysian food.

About the Chefs:

Rajah Vellasamy was born in Malaysia and grew up in the restaurant industry. Cooking professionally since age 20, his skills have been showcased and sharpened in many prestigious restaurants. Rajah found Kampong in 1990 and hasn't looked back. Over 20 years experience, Rajah emphasizes the authenticity and freshness of his dishes.

Silas Madasamy boasts an equal amount of experience as Rajah, Silas is a clever and experienced chef who has been inviting Wellingtonians to experience the wonder and delight of authentic Malaysian food for 22 years.
