Two Day Practical Beekeeping Course

About the Beek Keeping Course: 

The Bee Hive course has been designed to provide the student with the theory and practical knowledge needed to become proficient in the art of Beekeeping. This is an entry-level course. The course structure has been designed to fit into a 2 day weekend and now a 2-day weekday course - Course

• Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th April 2018
• Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th April 2018

Hours:

Day One - 9.00am to 5.00pm & Day - Two 9.00am to 5.00pm

What to expect: 

• You will be provided with a comprehensive set of notes, folder and pen
• Students get to go into a working hive
• You will cover in our practical session the Langstroth, Top Bar and Bench Hives
• Morning & afternoon tea will be provided

About The Bee Hive: 

The Bee Hive has now been open for four years and in this time they have had 500 students complete our course the youngest being 9 the oldest was 82. Their students have travelled as far as Queenstown in the South Island to Kaitaia in the North. Plus one student from Germany and Australia.
