- Entertain the kids for a few hours on the Tip Top Family Lawn - your kids will love the bouncy castles, face painting & a dose of history and interactive workshops from He Tangata.
- Animals galore – there are baby animals in the Hazletts Farmyard, formidable Clydesdales and fluffy alpacas too - the show is an animal lover's dream.
- Be a farmer for the day - check out the huge tractors, combine harvesters and more. Children love getting the chance to sit in the cabs and see these amazing machines up close.
- Live music on the Village Green - bring a picnic or grab a bite to eat and find your spot on the Village Green to take in great live music from the Eastern, Brotherhood Musiq & Kings.
- Thrills and spills in the carnival - keep it classic on the Ferris Wheel, challenge your friends on the bumper cars or get dizzy on the hurricane. There are all sorts of rides and attractions at the carnival and, this year, the show welcomes its first rollercoaster!

- Explore the retail sites - with over 500 trade exhibitors on-site selling everything from gourmet food to exotic holidays and boutique clothing to high-end vehicles, there's something for everyone.
About The NZ Agricultural Show:
Canterbury’s favourite day out is back! The New Zealand Agricultural Show (formerly the Canterbury A&P) offers fun for all, jam-packed with livestock, live entertainment and attractions, indoor and outdoor exhibits, food and wine, cute animals and so much more! It's where country comes to town in a spectacular mix of colour, excitement and competition - a celebration of everything that's great in Canterbury and New Zealand.
The Show is hosted by the Canterbury A&P Association, a charity whose aim is to promote the importance of farming, produce and innovation to New Zealand as a whole. The Association’s annual event is one of New Zealand’s oldest A&P Shows and remains a traditional agricultural Show at heart. The decision was taken by the association in 2017 to rebrand the Show, to ensure its longevity and continued support to the communities at its core for many more years to come.
