About Northern Rocks:

Northern Rocks is a dedicated bouldering gym on Auckland’s North Shore, about 20 minutes from the CBD and billed as the first facility of its kind in the North Island. Climbing is rope-free on shorter walls over padded floors, so no experience or belaying is needed.

The gym has vertical to overhanging walls, top-out walls, a hydraulic angle-adjustable wall, training boards, a fitness area and yoga space. Routes are reset regularly, and it hosts the Climbing NZ Youth Boulder Nationals.
