About the Experience:
Soak in your own cedar hot tub of fresh forest spring water, in the spectacular Whakarewarewa Forest. Hot tubs are booked for 45-minute time slots.
Bathers are asked to arrive 15 minutes before booking time to check in, order drinks and change. Inclusion: Hot tub and free lockers. Please bring your swimwear and towel (or these can be hired at reception for $5.00ea). Upon arrival the team set your tub up with fresh cold drinking water and you have the option to purchase a beverage of your choice which they deliver directly to your tub; after more, press the buzzer and they will come and serve you at your tub.
About Secret Spot Hot Tubs Rotorua:
Secret Spot Hot Tubs Rotorua is a 2-minute drive south of Rotorua on State Highway 5. Secret Spot is located between the carpark and the stream with a waterfall flowing off our building’s roof! Unlimited free carparking.
Kolver brothers Keith and Eric created Secret Spot to share with you their experience of growing up in the great outdoors. As locals, they grew up on a farm next to the Kaituna river and have always loved getting out on adventures – white water rafting, kayaking, hunting, biking, exploring the bush, swimming in rivers and lakes. Always having a great time!
At the end of each adventure, they always managed to find a hot stream in the bush or on a beach, a secret spot that only a few locals know about, where they would retell the day’s stories and share a drink and a laugh.
So, they hatched a plan to re-create the Secret Spot of our youth, a place that they could share with fellow adventurers and visitors to their patch of paradise.
Expect unexpected surprises like a waterfall off the entrance roof, swing bridges, and campfires, flaming boulders, and birdsong to compliment the forest surroundings
