Itinerary:

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT DELHI AIRPORT

Welcome to New Delhi! Transfer to your hotel (Ahuja Residency) and relax for the evening.

DAY 2 - 50-MINUTE FLIGHT TO UDAIPUR

Start your day with a drive through Chanakyapuri's beautiful tall tree lanes. An inside guided tour of the President's Palace and India Gate (optional) if you would like to start early. Fly to Udaipur and check into Swaroop Vilas or The Sierra.

DAY 3 - UDAIPUR 

A lavish evening at the floating jewel of Lake Pichola. Take a boat ride to the City Palace, a complex of palaces that started in 1559 and took over 400 years to build. Explore the local bazaar famous for its miniature paintings and silver jewellery. Attend an optional folk dance show in the evening.

DAY 4 - JAWAI LEOPARD RESERVE 

Travel to the 400-year-old castle now turned into a beautiful heritage hotel (Ghanerao Royal Castle) today and spend a day at this beautiful site right in the middle of a village, following a leopard safari in a jeep.

DAY 5 - JAWAI LEOPARD RESERVE

Head towards the Jungle Lodge this afternoon. A hundred-year-old hunting lodge. Located at the edge of the Kumbhalgarh National Park, in the arms of the Aravalli ranges. It is one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world. Walk to the nearby Jain Temple and be ready for a musical bonfire buffet dinner in the Jungle. Stay the night at Aloof Jungle Lodge.

DAY 6 - DESERT SAFARI 

After a late checkout, your vehicle will take you to the camel country while strolling through different villages and a stopover at a weavers and potters village to appreciate the local art. Enjoy a camel ride to the dunes followed by the traditional dance show at the dunes and a buffet dinner at the bonfire camp. Stay the night at Swiss Tents.

DAY 7 - JODHPUR 

Start your day with a beautiful sunrise at the desert camp and travel to the blue city. Welcome to The Blue City. A guided visit to the 15th-century Majestic Mehrangarh Fort and later to the Umaid Bhawan Palace, the most significant private residence in the world and the only Palace in India built in the 20th century. After lunch, explore the local market full of textiles, handicrafts, locally made shoes and spices. Relax for the evening at your hotel, Rigmore Haveli or Ranbanka Palace.

DAY 8 - Nimaj

Checkout by noon and on your way to Raipur Marwar. Stay at a resort, Ramgarh Resort Nimaj. Indulge in local activities like pottery, walking with a local shepherd, bird watching or just relaxing for the day.

DAY 9 - JAIPUR 

Travel to the Pink City Jaipur after a late checkout. Have a farm stopover for lunch on your way to Jaipur. Check in to your luxury hotel, Alsisar Haveli or Traditional Haveli. Relax at your hotel for the evening.

DAY 10 - JAIPUR 

After breakfast, this morning starts with a guided walk at the local flower and vegetable market and a place enchanted with holy prayers at a local temple. A visit to City Palace and an 18th-century astronomical observatory built by Maharaja of Jaipur. Visit the local textile and gemstones market on your way back to the hotel. Relax for the evening at your hotel.

DAY 11 - JAIPUR

This morning, reserve half a day for yourself. Rest at your hotel till the afternoon or explore/shop/visit around the city and the team will assist you with that. In the evening you'll enjoy a sound and light show of an 11th-century fort and will explore the fort complex drenched in beautiful multicoloured lights during the night.

DAY 12 - AGRA 

Travel to Agra today. Visit Chand Baori Stepwell on the way. Have a lunch stopover at one of the special restaurants. Relax for the evening at your hotel, Taj Resorts Agra.

DAY 13 TAJ MAHAL TO DELHI 

Start your day with an early sunrise visit to the Taj. Late checkout after breakfast and drive to Delhi for a nights stay at Ahuja Residency Sunder Nagar. Visit Akshardham temple on the way at your choice. The Light & Water Show at this temple can be highlight of the evening.

DAY 14

Travel further if you choose an add-on to Varanasi, Amritsar or Shekhawati or add a South India Tour of Kerala at discounted prices. Or else take your scheduled flight back to New Zealand.
