Itinerary
Note: B = breakfast included, L = lunch included, D = dinner included
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport with pick up to hotel. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.
After you arrive in Kathmandu International Airport, their airport representative from Trekking Guide Team Adventure will wait for you with a play card. They will help you to transfer to the hotel. At hotel, you can just relax. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara Hotel. (B)
On this day, they will drive you to Pokhara from Kathmandu at around 7am by bus. En route, you will pass by a lot of terrace farms, villages, and cities with views of snow-topped peaks. Pokhara, in fact, is the most renowned valley in the southern Himalayas and hides the best of Himalayan appeal with three eye-catching lakes in its region - Phewa, Begnas and Rupa. At Pokhara, you can go sightseeing in popular tourist areas like Gupteshore Cave, Davi’s Fall, the famous Fewa Lake where you can enjoy boating, etc. Stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul to the Birethanti Village and trek to Ulleri Village. Overnight at a tea house. (B/L/D)
Annapurna Base camp trek begins on this day. You will drive to Nayapul from Pokhara and walk along the path and carry on trekking down the hill following a river to Birethanti lying at a height of 1,025m. It is one of the prosperous villages near the bank of the Modi River. You will then continue walking and pass by Hille and then walk further to a large Magar Village named Ulleri. All in all, you will walk for 5 hours. Stay overnight at a tea house.
Day 04: Hiking up to Ghorepani through Rhododendron Forest. Overnight at tea house. (B/L/D)
On this day, you will depart from Ulleri to reach Ghorepani. You will walk for around 5 hours to reach Ghorepani lying at an elevation of 2860m. On the way you will pass TirkheDhunga, you will traverse a river via a suspension bridge of the Bhurungdi River. Over the village, you will walk on a rather peaceful path. You will walk through a grazing landscape and cultivated areas. Walking via oak and rhododendron woods. You will arrive at Nangethanti from where we leave for Ghorepani. Stay overnight at a tea house.
Day 05: Hiking up to Poonhill to see the sunrise view of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri & Machhapuchhre. Stay Overnight at a tea house. (B/L/D)
You begin trekking early in the morning to Poonhill (3195m). At the peak of the Poon Hill, you can take delight from the scenic sunrise views over stunning peaks like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre. Then, you will return back to the hotel and trek to Chuile taking around 6 hours. Stay overnight at a tea house.
Day 06: Trek to Sinuwa. Overnight at a tea house. (B/L/D)
You will depart from Chuile and trek for around 5 hours to get to Sinuwa lying at the altitude of 2360m. On the way, you will have a pleasing stroll to Chomrong. Chomrong is a large Gurung village and the entrance to Annapurna Sanctuary. It is set on the lap of the massive Annapurna. You will also walk down to the bridge and ascend to Sinawua Danda. This journey rewards you with the amazing panorama of the nearby landscapes and snow-topped peaks including the grand peak of Annapurna South, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre) facing across the valley. Stay overnight in Sinuwa.
Day 07: Hiking up to Deurali. Overnight at a tea house. (B/L/D)
On this day, you will walk on a pleasing path passing side by side with charming rhododendrons, oaks, and pine forests. Likewise, you will walk down to Bamboo which is a small area with around five lodges in the heart of the forested area. The area is filled with rhododendrons and bamboo trees beside the Modi River. Then, you will get to Dovan passing through the cool shadow of the forest. Also, you will have a pleasant ascend for some hours to get to the Hinko cave. You will then depart from a wooded area and walk down to get to a small bridge. After that, it is a little way up to Deurali. You will be trekking for around 5 hours on this day. Stay overnight at a tea house.
Day 08: Hiking up to Annapurna base camp. Overnight at tea house. (B/L/D)
This is one of the major days of the trek. On this day, you will walk for four hours to get to Annapurna Base Camp lying at the height of 4120m. On the way, you will get magnificent views of the south face of Annapurna that mounts on top of the sanctuary. As you approach close to the base camp, you will notice a prayer flag set viewpoint in the moraine. Plus, the striking sight of the glaciers will greet you. From the peak, you can observe some of the most mesmerizing peaks like Singu Chuli (6501m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Tharpu Chuli (5663m). Stay overnight at a tea house.
Day 09: See the sunrise of view of the Annapurna I & Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre & trek down to Bamboo. Overnight at a tea house. (B/L/D)
On this day, you will get up early in the morning to see the beautiful sunrise views over the Annapurna I Machhapuchhre, and Annapurna South. And, after that, you will walk down to Bamboo which is filled with rhododendron and Bamboo trees taking around 6 hours (2310m). Stay overnight at a tea house.
Day 10: Trek to Jhinu Danda (Natural hot spring). Overnight at tea house. (B/L/D)
On this day you will depart from Bamboo ad trek to Jhini Danda lying at the elevation of 1780m. Today, you will keep climbing and then traverse over the stream. After walking on a short firm climb you will reach JhinuDanda taking approximately 5 hours. At JhinuDanda there is a hot spring where you can dip yourself in the pools. Here you can get pleasure from the warmth of the hot spring and get rid of the tiredness of the trek. Stay overnight at a tea house.
Day 11: Trek to Syaulibazar, 5hr drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at the hotel. (B/L)
You will trek for around 5 hours on this day to reach Syaulibazar from Jhinu Village. On this day, you will have a pleasant trek to Syaulibazar. You will enjoy the views along the trekking route. Finally, with an hour drive, you will go back to Pokhara. Stay overnight in Pokhara.
Day 12: Drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Overnight at Kathmandu. (B)
On this day, after having breakfast you will take the tourist bus from Pokhara to return to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you will return back to the hotel. At hotel, you can just relax. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 13: Departure to your country. (B)
This is your last day in Nepal. You will depart from Nepal with breathtaking memories and remarkable time spent in the Annapurna Himalayan region. Their staff will transfer you to the airport for your departure.
