It is a 268 hectare property on the banks of the Waihopai river. The Ned was a product of Brent Marris' vision to turn a vineyard property into an iconic hub of a future winery. Marlborough born and raised, it is not surprising that Brent Marris has devoted his life to viticulture. Brent became the region's first born and raised qualified winemaker, graduating from Roseworthy Agricultural College (South Australia) in 1983, with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Oenology (winemaking). With more than twenty years grape growing, winemaking and marketing experience, his history of crafting wines for the world are testament to his skill and passion.Brent is one of New Zealand's most respected winemakers and has been at the forefront of New Zealand's viticultural development. His outstanding ability to blend varietals in a manner that best represents regional style and character is renowned.In this mixed case you will get two bottles of each of the below wines;The Ned Pinot Gris 2015A New Zealand classic, Ned blushes a little pink, to remind us of the original skin-tone of the grapes. Rose petal aromatics and a palate that, while weighty, is still razor sharp. Peachy-keen, sexily spicy, appealingly smooth.The Ned Sauvignon Blanc 2014A well crafted wine, pale lemon in colour and wonderfully vivacious. The nose has lashings of enticing green apple, fig, herb and citrus. Finely structured and well balanced, it has vivid fruit flavours, a dash of herbal nuances and a sassy aftertaste. The Ned Rose 2015A classic bouquet of red berries and cream. The palate of this rosé is nice and round, with cream and summer berries running through it's core. Balanced, bright, and crisp.
